feature request - customisabe buttons tool bar

is it possible to expand the use of the customisable tool bar?
so we can have a button there that shows modes
ie by pass audio units
AU mono to stereo
bypass processing out put
search terms - button for ;- match whole words/ search file name / search folder name
these would really help!

64 X 64 and they need to be monochrome. If you build them, I'll add them.

I have some ideas about the icons.
anyone else got any ideas for them? dont mind to share the work load -
how about making them like the " refine" exclude and top buttons? ie just a bit of text in a box? more user friendly?
but can you have them in 2 "states" ie by pass folder activated?
