Can someone please just give me a quick rundown of how to use the program for my needs (below). I was trying to read the manual but it was hurting my head, think it needs a "Getting Started Quick Guide" in there.
I basically want to be able to search for my audio files by writing in the search bar things like "Bass electro" but also include the key as well as in "Bass Electro D#".
I have worked out how to tag the data on my files this way, changing the metadata fields and tags, but how do i then search for the ones I want. Do I have to create an empty list in the sidebar and put all my samples in there? How do I choose to search for key or tempo?
Go to your folder where you keep your sounds and click: Click Import (folder name) in the Sidebar Click Metadata Database Search in the Sidebar Then type in various search terms separated by spaces if you want to search for combinations.
Note the Search Field has a little Triangle which is connected to a menu that gives you additional search criteria.
