Sorry, but there's definitely a bug here in Leopard

Found time to fully test the 'drop audio file on dock/app icon - doesn't play' bug I reported earlier.

We have 1 Snow Leopard mac (iMac) here and 3 leopard machines (2x mac pro's, 1 macbook pro)...Absolutely repeatable on every Leopard machine.

Steps

1. Drop an audio file on Audiofinder icon

2. Audiofinder boots but immediately goes to 'Volumes' instead, and does not play the file - until the file is dragged and dropped on the icon a second time.

3. All the permissions on all the Leopard macs are repaired and 100% correct

Works correctly, as expected in Snow Leopard.

Interesting. Snow Leopard is vastly superior to Leopard. Is there a reason they are sticking with Leopard? It's weird to fix AF for old OS versions because basically there's nothing wrong with the code, rather, the OS has the bug. I might be able to hack a workaround for it, which involves testing if it's running on Leopard and then working around the OS bug.

I'll look into it.
